Hello.
I thought I'd start my very first post introducing myself and explaining what my blog is all about. My name is MacKenzie Baker, but call me Kenzie. I am an advertising student at Michigan State University. I'm currently a junior, but with a specialization in PR, I'm suspecting it will take a total of 5 years to complete my degree. I LOVE advertising and I cannot get enough of the creativity involved! I started this blog to critic ads on all sources of media. I believe that in order to have deemed your work as a successful campaign, you need to get people on their feet, you need to have a call to action. In other words, your work needs to create an event of some kind, hence the name AdEvent for this blog. I hope to inspire other students and the public fascinated in this area of work, and to change the way people approach an ad. Feel free to comment whether you agree or disagree, I'm always open to new ideas. I'm no expert, but I'm enthusiastic about advertising!
