My Top 5 Super Bowl Ads

The Super Bowl is football's BIG day but, it's Advertising's BIG event! Brands will pay big bucks to get their 30 second commercial spot. Lets see who got the most bang for their buck!

#5 Doritos commercial - You Didn't See Nuthin'
This commercial was comical, but not the best Doritos commercial I've seen. Still the dog was cute and it brings you back to the old dog chases cat scenario. Which is funny and appealing to pet lovers and haters alike.

#4 Hyundai- Cheetah vs. Car
This commercial was great because it caught you off guard. The average person watching this would think at the beginning "oh, another car commercial trying to prove their cars are the fastest". That was not the case in this one. They added in a comical twist that not only made fun of competitors, but also made their brand stick.

#3 Bud Light - Here wego.
This commercial was appealing to males of all age and comical to women. Who wouldn't want a dog that would fetch them a beer? This is going back to the basics of advertising. Find a problem, give a solution, however unrealistic that solution may be, and you've got buyers.

#2 Chrysler commercial featuring Clint Eastwood
This is unconventional ad for the Super Bowl but I don't know a person who didn't like it. It's not funny, pushy, or loud. It's a brand that is making it's product (and it's problem) relatable. Therefore it made it into my top 5.

#1 The Voice featuring Betty White
This commercial was brilliant. There was action, excitement, and of course Betty White! I don't think audiences will ever get sick of her. This commercial was so funny that it conquered all the Super Bowl commercials for me this year!
